FITC Toronto 2015

Interactive Installation

Tying in with FITC Toronto’s theme of evolution, Leviathan created an installation that immerses visitors in a dynamic interactive world, while implementing FITC’s themed elements, resulting in a customized ambient experiment.

Upon entering the conference, visitors see their digital reflections emerge on a massive projection screen in the conference lobby. Using custom algorithms and 3D camera technology, visitors’ images are captured and transformed into dimensional geometry––the paths of their tracked  movement creating a visual pattern that contributes to a larger, one-of-a-kind visual composition that evolves throughout the duration of the conference. This evolution of the animated banner unfolds organically as the visual system grows with each visitor’s contribution.

Interactive LED Installation

Set Fabrication

The Leviathan team has been hard at work designing and implementing a custom interactive LED system for live performances. LEDs are controlled with touch designer and trigger pads for a unique experience. It will be hitting the road with a major label recording artist this winter so be sure to check back as progress continues.
