Mid-Sr Technical Project Manager

DESCRIPTION

Leviathan is looking for a mid-senior Technical Project Manager to help us manage projects that bridge web, gaming and the physical/digital world for a creative engineering team.

You will join as an experienced Technical PM working closely with a Producer(s) and are responsible for the day to day running of a project and its engineering team; creating and maintaining project documentation, ensuring assets are up-to-date, resolving blockers and keeping the project on track. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Have a background in hands-on development or another technology-related field working on challenging and innovative projects.
  • You master interactive / software process from an information architecture, user experience design, and technical perspective. Quick thinker, accurate, hands-on, stress tolerant and a problem solver.
  • Scope development work
  • Track iteration status and resolve stalled or blocked user stories as needed
  • Develop measurements to improve team effectiveness, including dashboard reporting
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning, resource management, project scheduling, and release management
  • Introduce new ideas and processes that improve performance and productivity
  • Facilitate cross-team and cross-vendor coordination by reaching out to the larger organizations to remove obstacles

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience
  • Comfortable operating in rapidly changing environments
  • Solid project management skills at least 5+ years
  • Solid data analysis skills for measuring and managing a delivery
  • Excellent facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to influence change at all organizational levels
  • Ability to learn and master the workflow of various software platforms such as TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal. Understanding of 2D and 3D asset pipelines. Basic working knowledge of Python, C++.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with interactive installation projects a plus

Creative Director

DESCRIPTION

Leviathan is seeking a Creative Director with conceptual, technical and aesthetic prowess to join us on a journey of creating never-before-seen experiences at the nexus of design, digital media, and interaction.

This senior role requires exceptional leadership and communication skills in both written and oral presentations. A Creative Director at Leviathan leads by example with a hands-on approach, must be a master team builder and above all have excellent design and motion skills. Part pitch and part project, the CD is responsible for both crafting creative treatments in response to RFPs and executing numerous running projects to completion.

The CD will remain in constant pursuit of original concepts, designs, and technical approaches. A sharp sense of visual aesthetic traversing the arts, experiential design, interactive and visual communication is essential. He or she should have an understanding of appropriate technology and techniques used in all facets of the motion and video production process. A talented diplomat, the CD must have an in-depth awareness of client needs and how to lead them through the creative process, to achieve stellar results.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • 5+ Years Creative Direction Experience
  • Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, storytelling, motion design, technology, content production and usability
  • Brings enthusiasm and skills that help others generate and create innovative solutions
  • Creates inspiring work and inspires others to do the same
  • Highly skilled in developing and selling creative ideas
  • Strong communication skills in written and oral presentations
  • Ability to craft and deliver insightful presentations to client partners and internal teams

KEY DESIGN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a lead software developer and/or technology architect on interactive installation incorporating software and/or hardware engineering.

  • Comfortable with 3D rendering and GPU technologies (OpenGL, DirectX, compute shaders, etc)
  • Excited about pushing the limits of interactive environments using materials, software, and hardware in creative ways, exploring new and emerging technologies
